Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. in Odessa, Florida, is seeking a Silver Dollar Resort Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of community common areas and support maintenance teams to meet ELS standards.

You will handle cleaning tasks, report on supplies, assist with resident activities, and deliver outstanding customer service. Weekend and holiday availability is required; a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• One to three years of experience in a housekeeping role.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Organizational skills and attention to details.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans office, clubhouse, public access areas as directed.
• Keeps common areas clean and maintain them to ELS standards.
• Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Provides assistance to the maintenance staff and other staff members as needed.
• Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs in common areas to Resort Office/Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintains open communication with Resort Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assists with clean-up at community sponsored resident activities and functions.
• May be required to drive motorized vehicle to run errands and/or pick up supplies.
• Assist Resort Manager with resident inquiries in a timely, professional manner, demonstrating the ability to solve problems and address conflict in a positive manner, i.e. exhibiting patience and concern.
• Provide outstanding customer service, representing ELS in a professional manner at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
