Equity LifeStyle Properties (ELS) is hiring for the position of Silver Dollar Resort Housekeeper in Odessa, Florida. The role focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of community common areas used by residents and guests, working collaboratively with maintenance staff to meet ELS quality standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–3 years of housekeeping experience, knowledge of cleaning products, and a valid driver’s license.

• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Organizational skills and attention to details.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans office, clubhouse, and public areas as directed (mopping, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal).
• Maintains clean common areas to ELS standards.
• Monitors and reports inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Assists maintenance staff and other team members as needed.
• Reports maintenance concerns for repairs in common areas to Resort Office/Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintains open communication with Resort Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assists with clean-up at community-sponsored resident activities and functions.
• May drive a motorized vehicle to run errands or pick up supplies.
• Contributes to resident inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Provides outstanding customer service and represents ELS professionally at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the overall cleanliness and appearance of the Community common areas used by current and prospective residents/guests. Works as a team participant along with maintenance staff to ensure the Community meets the quality standards set by ELS.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Cleans office, clubhouse, public access areas as directed. This includes but is not limited to mopping, dusting, vacuuming and trash removal.
• Keeps common areas clean and maintain them to ELS standards.
• Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Provides assistance to the maintenance staff and other staff members as needed.
• Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs in common areas to Resort Office/Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintains open communication with Resort Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assists with clean-up at community sponsored resident activities and functions.
• May be required to drive motorized vehicle to run errands and/or pick up supplies.
• Assist Resort Manager with resident inquiries in a timely, professional manner, demonstrating the ability to solve problems and address conflict in a positive manner, i.e. exhibiting patience and concern.
• Provide outstanding customer service, representing ELS in a professional manner at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience & skills you need:

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• One to three years of experience in a housekeeping role.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Organizational skills and attention to details.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
