Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is seeking a Resort Housekeeper to maintain clean, sanitary, and welcoming resort facilities and rental properties. The role involves cleaning appliances, bathrooms, floors, windows, and common areas, while following safety procedures and reporting hazards.

A valid driver's license and basic computer skills are required. The position requires physical stamina to lift up to 25 pounds and prior cleaning experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in cleaning homes or large facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of general janitorial work.
• Knowledge of safety measures when using cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet use.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with cleaning supplies as needed.
• Cleans appliances, defrosts freezer, and ensures sanitary conditions.
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, maintains lighting and safety mats.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or faulty equipment.
• Maintains overall appearance of resort facilities and properties.
