Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a Resort Housekeeper in Casa Grande, AZ to keep resort facilities and rental properties clean and sanitary.

This seasonal, full-time role requires attention to detail and reliability, with duties spanning cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. You will follow safety procedures, lift up to 25 pounds, and use basic computer tools for scheduling and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• 6 months cleaning homes or large facilities experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work.
• Knowledge of safety measures when using cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills including email and internet access.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and stock areas; ensure tables and chairs are clean and functional.
• Clean and sanitize appliances; defrost freezer as needed.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms; ensure lighting and safety with rubber mats.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or defective equipment.
• Maintain overall appearance of resort, buildings, and facilities.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, wax, and buff floors as needed; keep windows clean.
• Maintain washers and dryers; empty trash; keep offices clean and neat.
• Clean and replace vents/filters as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Resort Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning resort facilities, buildings and rental properties to ensure the resort remains presentable and sanitary at all times.

Job Duties

• Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with products as needed. Ensures all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly (Essential)
• Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold and mildew. Defrosts freezer as needed (Essential)
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, ensuring they are well lit, and places rubber mats down to ensure safety (Essential)
• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Reports all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to their manager (Essential)
• Ensures that the overall appearance of the resort, buildings and facilities are well maintained and orderly
• Ensures all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as needed
• Ensures that all windows and screens are clean and functioning properly
• Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, etc.
• Ensures all offices and buildings are clean and neat. Empties trash containers as needed
• Ensures all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed
• Other duties as assigned
