Job summary

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. in Lake Worth, TX seeks a Maintenance/Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance resort and community grounds. You will perform mowing, edging, planting, and general upkeep to ensure market-ready spaces.

The role requires operating power equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor to support property needs. Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with potential weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy equipment.
• Familiar with maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers and hedge trimmers.
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lawns, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters, and other grounds features.
• Mows and edges lawns with various mowers and tools.
• Cares for lawns by mulching, weeding, and trimming trees and plants.
• Maintains flower beds through pruning and watering.
• Prunes and trims trees, shrubs, and hedges.
• Plants flowers and trees; maintains and applies fertilizers as needed.
• Operates and maintains ground equipment and performs preventive maintenance.
• Reports maintenance concerns to supervisor and assists in safety checks.
