Job summary

Sun Outdoors in Kentucky is seeking a Resort Groundskeeper to maintain lawns, plant beds and perform general grounds care. You will mow, weed, trim shrubs, inspect irrigation, and assist with seasonal outdoor tasks to keep our resort grounds welcoming for guests.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months of groundskeeping experience preferred, and a valid driver's license. Pay is $17 per hour with benefits including paid sick leave, SunRewards, and access to Sun University.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of grounds maintenance techniques.
• Able to lift 25 pounds and endure outdoor work in all seasons.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure lawns are manicured and grounds are well maintained.
• Weed control, weed whip, mulch plants, prune shrubs, and trim hedges.
• Picks up trash and debris daily in common areas.
• Inspect and maintain irrigation systems.
• Report maintenance needs to the manager.
• Maintain resort vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain curb appeal and overall presentation of the resort.
• Safely operate vehicles for job duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
