Job summary

Green Turtle Bay Resort & Marina in Grand Rivers, KY seeks a reliable Grounds Keeper/Maintenance professional for daytime work. You will help maintain outdoor areas, facilities, and ensure safety and cleanliness across the property.

The role requires experience in groundskeeping and general maintenance, the ability to work independently, and physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather. Valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping elements.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and upkeep of buildings and facilities.
• Ensure walkways, parking lots, and outdoor areas are clean, safe, and free of debris.
• Assist with snow removal and ice control during winter months as needed.
• Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to management.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
