Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills such as teamwork and dependability.
• Excellent knowledge of plants, shrubs, flowers, pests.
• Safe use of tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Over 1 year related landscaping experience; resort preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping maintenance including planting, transplanting, pruning, mowing, seeding, weeding, and irrigating.
• Inspect sprinkler system, perform repairs, monitor water needs.
• Eradicate nuisance plant material by mechanical or chemical methods.
• Assist in seasonal exterior decorating.
• Spray pesticides and herbicides as needed.
• Maintain organized work order system and assist with hotel meetings setups.
