Job summary

Equity Lifestyle Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician II / Landscaper to maintain the community’s grounds, safety, and overall appearance, combining hard maintenance with extensive landscaping tasks including site prep for residents.

You will operate and maintain equipment, perform basic repairs, coordinate with management, and help prepare RV and home sites in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of property maintenance or landscaping experience preferred.
• Experience operating mowers, weed trimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and other groundskeeping tools.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high property appearance standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the community's grounds, landscaping, common areas, and amenity spaces.
• Prepare RV sites, home sites, and common areas for new residents and guests.
• Mow lawns, trim bushes and trees, edge walkways, and perform routine landscaping.
• Remove trash, debris, and fallen branches from sites and common areas.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws).
• Perform general maintenance tasks (light plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repairs, minor electrical work).
• Inspect and maintain park amenities and common-use areas.
• Work with management to identify, report, and resolve maintenance and landscaping concerns.
• Attend daily staff meetings and assist with special projects as assigned.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of landscaping supplies and tools.
