Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee housekeeping and public area crews, ensuring adherence to cleaning procedures and safety standards across the resort.

You will train staff on chemical handling, inspect all areas for cleanliness, report damages, and coordinate special projects while maintaining guest service focus and a smooth operation. Prior supervisory experience in a large hotel is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience as a supervisor or above in a public area department or similar environment.
• Large hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Previous experience supervising at least 20 employees preferred.
• At least six months in a guest contact/customer service position preferred.
• Knowledge of general cleaning supplies essential.
• Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms required.
• Nevada Driver License required.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to ensure proper cleaning procedures.
• Train employees in chemical and equipment usage.
• Inspect resort areas for cleanliness.
• Report damages and repairs on the status board.
• Follow up on cleaning requests.
• Assign staff to special projects.
• Complete work orders and follow-up after completion.
• Prepare daily station assignment schedules.
• Operate company vehicles and motorized carts to transport materials and equipment.
• Perform duties necessary for department success.
