Job summary

Trilogy Lake Norman seeks a friendly server to deliver food and beverages at the restaurant, bar, and patio. Reports to the Food & Beverage Manager. Must be available evenings and weekends and eager to provide outstanding hospitality.

New hourly full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week may be eligible for medical, dental, and life insurance starting after 60 days of full-time employment. PTO accrues at 120 hours per year, plus seven holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three months’ server experience preferred.
• Must meet state minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to understand and implement dining standards.
• Ability to perform basic math for discounts and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Relay food orders to the kitchen and beverage orders to the bartender.
• Serve food and beverages and clear tables following service etiquette.
• Engage with guests to ensure all needs are met and provide excellent service.
• Work as a team under the Lead Server or Food & Beverage Manager.
• Identify safety issues or customer concerns and report to a supervisor.
• Check IDs to ensure customers are of legal drinking age.
• Handle cash and card transactions, ensure charges are accurate.
• Other duties as assigned.
