Job summary

Solstice in Littleton, CO is seeking a bartender to craft beverages and serve guests at the bar, restaurant, or patio, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager. The role emphasizes hospitality, accuracy in cash handling, and recommendations to guests, with a required minimum of one year bartending experience and relevant certifications.

Full-time availability including evenings and weekends is expected. Compensation includes $16.00 per hour plus tips, medical/dental/life insurance after 60 days,

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year experience bartending, in a resort facility preferred.
• Must meet state and federal age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Ability to perform basic math for discounts and percentages.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere and hospitality by knowing the resort facility and dining area.
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage service to meet guest expectations.
• Greet and serve guests, taking beverage preferences and making recommendations.
• Check IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
• Balance cash register and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
• Take inventory and order liquors and supplies within budget.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Assist in all F&B functions such as banquets and events.
