Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties is seeking a Bartender-1 in Okeechobee, FL to deliver attentive guest service while crafting beverages to standard recipes with a friendly, professional demeanor. You will maintain a clean bar, verify guest ages for responsible service, process orders and POS transactions, and collaborate with the team to ensure memorable experiences for our resort guests.

Previous bartending experience and knowledge of beer, wine and cocktails are preferred, with flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler and Responsible Vendor certifications (or ability to obtain) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage positively with guests.
• Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the bar, service areas, and equipment.
• Accurately process guest orders and handle cash, credit card, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking, replenishing supplies, and notifying management of shortages.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and beverage control procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Set up and break down the bar area before and after service.
• Assist with special events and resort activities as needed.
