Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group is seeking a bartender in Napa, CA to prepare and serve beverages for guests and servers following standard recipes. You will maintain a professional, high-energy dining environment and ensure accurate transactions while upholding safety standards.

The position requires at least two years of bartending experience, broad knowledge of beverages, and the ability to upsell items. The job offers on-site work with a $16.90/hour base pay plus tips, and a commitment to guest

Qualifications

• Two years bartending experience, preferably in a hotel/resort.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards.
• Must have extensive knowledge of wine, beer, liquors and drinks.
• Ability to interact professionally with guests and maintain discretion.
• Must complete TIPS alcohol awareness certification as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Prepares drinks for guests and servers following standard recipes and portion control.
• Delivers a fun, high-energy guest experience while maintaining professional service.
• Maintains bar setup and stocks liquor, beer, wine, garnishes and glassware daily.
• Describes wines, beers and spirits; upsells items to maximize profitability.
• Handles cash, POS transactions, and balances the bank at shift end.
• Follows safety, sanitation, and PPE guidelines; reports hazards as needed.
• Works varying schedules, including holidays and weekends.
