Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group is seeking a professional bartender to join our team in Napa, CA. The role focuses on crafting traditional cocktails and specialty drinks, delivering a friendly, high-energy guest experience, and upholding strict service standards.

Responsibilities include bar setup, inventory, cash handling, and accurate transactions. Knowledge of wines/beverages, plus TIPS certification, are valued.

Qualifications

• Two years bartending experience preferred in hotel/resort environment.
• Strong knowledge of beverages, wine, beer, liquors, and drink preparation.
• Ability to provide guest relations and etiquette consistent with resort service standards.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash/transactions accurately.
• Must be able to read and speak English and work varying shifts including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepares drinks following standard recipes and portion control.
• Creates a welcoming, high-energy environment for guests and servers.
• Maintains bar setup, inventory, and sanitation in accordance with SOPs.
• Describes wines and spirits, makes recommendations, and upsells items.
• Handles transactions accurately and balances the bank at shift end.
• Follows health, safety, and PPE guidelines and reports hazards as needed.
• Keeps a clean, professional appearance and adheres to company policies.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.
