Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an Activities Associate to lead recreational programs and manage activity spaces across the resort.

This role supports guest enjoyment, operates the movie theater, fitness center, pool, and related venues, and collaborates with the Activities Supervisor to deliver memorable vacations. You will need creativity, strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Creativity and customer obsession.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement when interacting with guests and team members.
• State driver’s license and comfort operating large vehicles such as shuttles or vans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Certifications or ability to become certified: Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Alcohol Awareness Card, Food Server Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
• Monitor, supervise, and assist guests in the activity center.
• Promote and register guests for resort activities.
• Conduct and record inspections of related activity areas in compliance with company standards and requirements.
• Manage a cash bank following proper cashiering procedures (when applicable).
• Attend and complete required resort and company trainings.
