Job summary

Metacycle in Gainesville, TX is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Driver to safely transport bulk materials, including resin, to and from designated sites. This role covers shipping/receiving, inventory, and quality lab tasks while complying with DOT and company safety standards.

The position requires a valid CDL-A, at least 1 year of CDL driving, and forklift certification or the ability to obtain it. OT and weekend work may be required as part of operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 1 year of CDL-A driving experience.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Operate company truck and trailer safely in DOT compliance.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; document findings.
• Load/unload resin materials and ensure proper packaging and balance.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and routine maintenance.
• Coordinate schedules with Production Scheduler and communicate delivery readiness.
• Enter/verify shipping documents and Bill of Lading; secure loads properly.
