Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a production teammate to perform a variety of manufacturing tasks on a continuous operations schedule. You will assist the production team in achieving goals, operate reactors and related equipment, monitor quality, and support safety and housekeeping practices.

The role includes working with heavy machinery, following standard procedures, and communicating issues to supervision. Eligible for bonus based on performance per company plans.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • 1 year of experience operating machinery in manufacturing or distribution.
  • 1 year of experience monitoring gauges, dials, or indicators.
  • 1 year of experience monitoring the quality of raw materials or finished goods.

Responsibilities

  • Operate reactors, thin tanks, bulk tanks and other vessels.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment pumps, valves, agitators, etc.
  • Operate drawing and filling equipment such as scales and flow meters.
  • Charge and discharge following standard procedures.
  • Monitor product quality in manufacturing and packaging areas.
  • Communicate maintenance, quality, or safety issues to supervisors.
  • Read and follow instructions on the production floor.
  • Participate in housekeeping to maintain a safe work environment.
