Job summary

Arclin in Moncure, NC is seeking a Product Development Chemist to design and execute resin-based projects supporting the product development strategy. The role reports to the Product Development and Applications Manager and collaborates with R&D, Sales, Manufacturing and Marketing to bring innovative chemistry to market.

You'll formulate and test formaldehyde-based resins, document results, and maintain a safe, compliant lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in an industrial chemical lab; MS substitutes for 2 years.
• Strong written and verbal communication in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute projects to develop and optimize resin products.
• Formulate and synthesize formaldehyde-based resins; perform lab testing.
• Provide technical support to applications, production, and sales groups.
• Maintain accurate records and a clean, safe lab environment.
