Job summary

Arclin USA LLC in Moncure, NC is seeking an entry-level Chemical Production Operator. You will perform tasks related to manufacturing and processing resins and formaldehyde, under supervision, adhering to HSE regulations and company policies to maintain a safe, efficient operation.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this full-time role requires rotating shifts and strict PPE adherence while collaborating with Lead Operator and other staff to meet production targets and ensure quality and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Required or GED.
• Forklift experience a plus but must be able to become certified.
• Capable of Driving a Tractor/Tanker unit or being able to learn.
• Analytical and mechanical mindset needed to be successful in this role.
• Must be ok with rotating shifts (Days/Nights/Evenings rotating every week).
• Must be ok with following strict Health and Safety Guidelines and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Ability to sit, stand, walk and climb frequently; lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic math skills required including the use of a calculator.
• Ability to operate safely in a manufacturing environment; potentially lifting up to 20 lbs, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures resin and formaldehyde according to established procedures and HSE regulations.
• Unloads and loads raw materials and finished products following established procedures.
• Operates a forklift to load/unload raw materials.
• Collaborates with management to meet the production and shipping schedule.
• Ensures required shipping documents are completed and procedures are followed to be in compliance with regulations.
• Participates in the Joint Health and Safety Committee to improve safety.
• Follows site rules on quality, health, safety and environment.
• Performs IPCs to verify batch progression using lab equipment (GC, Titrator, pH meter).
• Performs troubleshooting in case of process deviations.
