Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. seeks a Resin Process Technician to operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility to manufacture plastic containers for leading brands.

You will monitor equipment, adjust settings, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance to maintain high quality and reduce scrap. Training and growth opportunities are provided within a stable, safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician working with high-volume production equipment.
• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, climate-controlled environment.
• Monitor equipment and adjust settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality containers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality and scrap reduction.
• Grow skills through formal and side-by-side training and pursue career advancement.

As a Resin Process Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands.
