Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida seeks a House Coordinator to supervise staff and oversee daily programming in the group home.

You will ensure safe ratios, support youth toward their service goals, and foster therapeutic relationships while maintaining organized schedules and compliant documentation.

This direct care role requires strong communication, flexibility, and the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• 2–3 years of youth services experience.
• Ability to travel locally and out of area.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish may be required.
• Certified First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention.
• Strong dependability, discretion and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and manage daily programming during shifts.
• Ensure proper staff scheduling and leave management.
• Conduct intake services and provide youth with program overview.
• Deliver basic needs and direct care to youth while maintaining ratios.
• Maintain documentation for compliance and progress notes.
• Coordinate educational events and recreational activities for youth.
• Assist with medication distribution and safety compliance.
• Support evacuation and emergency procedures when needed.
