Job summary

American Training is seeking a Residential Counselor to support youth residents ages 14-22 in our homes in Methuen and Lawrence. The role emphasizes emotional support, activity coordination, and helping residents develop daily living skills.

Shift options include overnight from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Tuesday through Saturday, with full and part-time opportunities. A High School Diploma and a valid driver's license are required, along with CORI/EEC background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health setting with youth strongly preferred.
• Satisfactory CORI and EEC background checks.

What does a Residential Counselor do?

A Residential Counselor helps to provide direct care for our youth residents ages 14-22 in our homes in Methuen and Lawrence. Responsibilities include providing emotional and vocational support, recreational planning, activity coordination and adherence to a changing environment.

Schedule
