Job summary

Rite of Passage is hiring a Youth Care Professional for its Southern California Treatment Program in Tustin, Placentia, and Costa Mesa, CA. You will provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for residential youth, document behaviors, and support educational and recreational activities while collaborating with other departments to meet each youth’s treatment plan.

The role requires empathy, a high school diploma or higher, and a valid driver’s license, with benefits including health

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate empathy, patience and a genuine desire to work with youth
• Must be 21 years or older and pass background checks, drug screening, physical, TB test
• Must possess one of the listed qualifications (Bachelor’s, permit, courses, or relevant experience)

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for residential youth
• Document behaviors and actions of youths
• Support educational and recreational activities
• Collaborate with other departments to meet youths’ treatment plan goals
