Job summary

Nexus Family Healing in Mendota Heights is seeking a part-time Youth Care Professional for the third shift to support teens in a safe, supportive setting. The role focuses on supervising daily living activities, reinforcing treatment plans, and maintaining a calm, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet state driving requirements.
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals and communities.
• Willingness to meet cultural needs of various communities.
• Must pass DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and supervise clients' daily activities per guidelines.
• Team up to implement treatment plans and services.
• Respect diversity in all interactions.
• Ensure client safety and a positive environment.
• Plan and participate in client activities.
• Monitor client phases and adapt interactions.
• Follow safety policies in living areas and sites.
