Job summary

Pella Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Sub-contractor installer to remove existing windows and doors and install new Pella products in residential settings in the Washington, D.C. area.

The role involves coordinating schedules with supervisors, leading on-site work, and ensuring quality and safety on every project. The candidate will test installations, demonstrate product operation to customers, maintain tidy job sites, and liaise with customers to resolve issues while adhering to Pella guidelines and

Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology and/or window and door applications.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret written information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify installation schedules with Project Coordinator and/or Installation Supervisor for jobs assigned.
• Directs work processes while at the job sites.
• Installs windows and doors to walls/openings according to Pella installation guidelines.
• Test the operations of each unit and demonstrate operation to the customer.
• Ensure job site is clean and tidy after installation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and represent Pella Mid-Atlantic on job sites.
• Train procedures for new windows and contact Pella Mid-Atlantic service if needed.
• Ensure customer completes Certificate of Completion and collect outstanding balances.
• Conduct job site inspections of sub-contracted installers as needed to meet business needs.
