Job summary

Community and Family Resources is looking for a part-time Treatment Specialist to assist clinical staff in providing addiction rehabilitation services to individuals in the Men's Residential Unit in Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves client support, overseeing behaviors, and completing assessments.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, with a Medication Management Certification to be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

  • Medication Management Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in completion of necessary assessment forms.
  • Orient clients to program services.
  • Provide oversight and monitoring of clients’ whereabouts.
  • Offer clients feedback and support.
  • Report client issues to staff.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties.
  • Answer the phone and forward calls.
  • Assist with transportation of clients.
  • Assist with searching client belongings.
  • Assist with rounds of the facility.
  • Assist with follow-up surveys and data entry.

Job description

Community and Family Resources is seeking a part-time Treatment Specialist to assist the clinical counseling staff with providing addiction rehabilitation services to individuals living in our Men's Residential Unit in Des Moines Iowa.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assists clients in completion of necessary assessment forms/documents as needed.
  • Orients clients to program services.
  • Provides oversight and monitoring of clients’ whereabouts and behaviors.
  • Offers clients feedback and support.
  • Reports client issues to staff.
  • Assists with light housekeeping duties, including shredding, trash, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and other areas as assigned.
  • Answers the phone and forwards calls as needed.
  • Assist with transportation of clients to scheduled appointments, planned activities, or as directed by the supervisor.
  • Assists with searching client belongings.
  • Assists with rounds of the facility.
  • Assists with follow up surveys and entering data.
Schedule
  • Type: Full-time
  • Hours: Evenings (3:00p-11:30p), includes some weekends and holidays
Education And Experience Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Medication Management Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment is required.
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance is required.
  • Lived experience with recovery is a plus!
