Responsibilities
Taking a residential title file from inception through closing with persistent attention to detail.
Ensuring compliance with contracts, settlement statements, mortgages, deeds, and policies of title insurance.
Verifying monetary amounts to satisfy all mortgages, taxes, and judgments.
Preparing and reviewing documents necessary for settlement.
Coordinating with buyers, sellers, and real estate agents for information necessary to facilitate a smooth settlement experience.
Reviewing legal documentation to ensure accuracy and proper notarization.
Updating proprietary software with follow-ups, results, and data entry.
Skills
1-2 years of working knowledge of the Real Estate and or Title Industry
