Job summary

JourneyPure Knoxville seeks a Primary Therapist for an inpatient residential setting. You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual therapy to a caseload of patients, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a trauma-informed, recovery-focused program.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Current licensure or active pursuit of licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.
• Provide individual therapy sessions for assigned caseload.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and process therapy groups.
• Educate patients on substance use disorders and recovery strategies.
• Deliver integrated care for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Utilize trauma-informed and strength-based approaches.
• Coordinate care and referrals for additional services.
• Collaborate with families and conduct family sessions when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
