Job summary
HNM Systems is seeking an Installation Manager to oversee residential telecommunications installation operations in the Wilmington and Jacksonville, NC markets. You will supervise 2–3 Installation Supervisors and their field teams, driving performance, staffing, and quality across the program.
The role requires extensive experience in cable, fiber, broadband, and residential installation operations, plus strong leadership and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in cable, coax, fiber, telecommunications, broadband, satellite, or residential installation operations.
- Previous management experience overseeing Installation Supervisors, field teams, multiple crews, or large residential operation.
- Strong understanding of residential telecommunications installation operations.
- Ability to analyze performance and drive improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage 2–3 Installation Supervisors and their technician teams.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to field Supervisors.
- Oversee daily residential installation operations across the market.
- Ensure staffing levels match installation volume and customer demand.
- Monitor productivity, quality, customer service, attendance, and performance.
- Partner with leadership on hiring and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
