Job Overview

First Resources Corp. is a private nonprofit organization with locations throughout southeast Iowa. We provide community-based programs with integrity and respect that inspire hope and contribute to the well-being of the people we serve. The ideal candidate would be responsible for the health and safety of individuals receiving services, managing money, agency assets, equipment, and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide monitoring and assistance for each person served.
• Ensure medical needs of members are met through observation of medication and proper documentation, including attending medical appointments and following all policies and procedures related to medication administration.
• Provide transportation as directed by supervisor, maintaining safe, reliable, and insured transportation.
• Complete service notes by the end of the scheduled shift.
• Provide updates to Supervisor, Counselor, and/or Office Manager and communicate service needs or discharge in a timely manner.
• Ensure each member has the opportunity to engage in sober community activities at the discretion of the Clinical Supervisor.
• Oversee daily events, meals, and bedtimes of clients and their children.
• Facilitate Life Skills Group as indicated on the treatment schedule.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
• Experience is preferred but not required; training and tools will be provided.
