Job summary

DH Pace is seeking a Residential Technician to install and repair residential garage doors and related hardware. You will work on projects in the field, identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services, and handle job paperwork with attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of mechanical and electrical experience, the ability to troubleshoot customer needs, and a valid driver’s license. Safety and customer service are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years minimum mechanical and electrical experience.
• Welding experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential garage doors and operating systems.
• Identify opportunities to upsell products and services.
• Track and submit job-related paperwork timely.
• Work safely and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Hours: Mon–Fri 7:00am–6:00pm with occasional weekend rotation.

Adams Door, a DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire a Residential Technician who is mechanically inclined with experience in the construction business and welding and can help in the service and installation of residential doors and door hardware.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and/or repair a wide range of residential garage doors and operating systems
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Tracking and maintaining job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
• Operating in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Standard work hours: Monday through Friday; between 7:00am and 6:00pm with occasional weekend rotation shift

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Able to safely lift 75 pounds over your head
• Minimum of two (2) years of mechanical and electrical experience required
• Welding experience preferred but not required
• Must possess valid driver’s license
• Enjoy the mental challenge of being able to trouble shoot to solve customer needs
• Customer Service oriented
