Job summary

TECH, Inc. in Hutchinson, KS seeks a Residential Team Leader to provide direct line of support between individuals served, staff and management. This entry-level supervisory role leads 4–6 Direct Support Professionals, delivering care per PCSP and agency policies.

Under supervision of the Manager of Residential Services, you will supervise staff, coordinate shifts, document progress, and assist clients with daily activities while promoting dignity, respect and community integration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of supervisor experience in the IDD field.
• Preferred: Associate Degree with 1–2 years of supervisor experience.
• Valid and Current Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises four to six employees.
• Oversees adherence to organizational policies and laws.
• Plans, assigns and directs work; assesses performance; handles rewards and discipline.
• Ensures staff coverage for all shifts.
• Provides daily progress reports to clients and PCSP as required.
• Supports personal care needs including feeding, hygiene, dressing and medication administration.
• Oversees housekeeping tasks in client residences.
• Coordinates transportation for clients or arranges alternatives.
• Helps clients develop social and communication skills and community integration.
• Communicates across departments to ensure service delivery.
• Participates in the Client's Person-Centered Support Plan team.
