Job summary

DePaul’s Charles J. Lesh, MD Apartments (Batavia Apartment Treatment Program) is seeking a per diem Residential Assistant to assist with case management, care and training of residents under the supervision of the Residence Manager.

Responsibilities include teaching and supervising residents, observing behaviors, helping with meals, supervising activities, housekeeping, and medication documentation. Requires a High School Diploma; human services experience preferred; valid driving record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Human services experience preferred.
• Driving record must meet agency policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching, supervision, and support to residents in areas of independent living.
• Observe, monitor, and document resident behaviors and progress.
• Assist in preparation of nutritious meals as needed.
• Assist in implementation and supervision of recreational activities.
• Complete household chores to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Supervise and document resident medications per agency policies.
• Perform other duties to ensure safe operation of the residence.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required and participate in treatment team discussions.
