Job summary

Pillar Care Continuum is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Plainfield Hillside NJ. This part-time position covers evening and weekend hours to support adults with developmental disabilities in residential settings.

You will assist with daily activities, hygiene, meals, and medication administration while promoting a safe, respectful home environment and positive family/community connections. A background check and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of employment with the same establishment or agency preferred.
• Criminal background check and fingerprint clearance required.
• Valid driver's license with fewer than 4 points.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents in activities of daily living and support individual needs.
• Assist with hygiene, meals, medications and daily routines.
• Monitor health status, document changes and report to supervisor.
