LOGAN Center in South Bend, Indiana is hiring a Direct Support Professional. In this role you will actively support individuals with developmental disabilities, help with daily activities, implement goals from Individual Support Plans, and promote independence.

You will work as part of a team to provide meaningful daytime activities and ensure a safe, respectful environment. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with a $1.00 per hour weekend differential.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Drivers: Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance/registration and acceptable driving record.

Aufgaben

• Provides direct support and training to individuals served.
• Promotes independence and teaches daily living skills.
• Documents progress and communicates with the team and supervisor.
• Ensures safety and adheres to agency policies and procedures.
