Job summary

Delta-T Group in McKees Rocks, PA is seeking Direct Support Staff to provide care in group homes for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role is an independent contractor arrangement with hourly pay up to $19, shifts available including weekdays and weekends, and a require­ment for a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Care duties emphasize improving quality of life, with light household tasks, meal prep, and daily living skills support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Experience providing direct care.
• Able to work with low, mid and high functioning consumers.
• Some assignments may require working with wheelchairs and hoyers.
• Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation - a must.
• Some on-line client trainings will need to be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide support that will enhance Individuals' quality of life.
• Provide personal care management to individuals with autism and other mental and developmental disabilities.
• Perform light household duties and assist clients with daily functional activities including meal preparation, housekeeping, and life skills group.
