Job summary

HRCSB seeks Residential Hourly Staff to provide direct client services to residents of CSB-operated residential programs. You will support individuals with mental illness, assist with daily living skills, trauma-informed practices, and community integration.

Responsibilities include supervising residents, delivering training, maintaining progress notes, and responding to crises. A valid driver's license is required. Evening and weekend hours are common to ensure coverage and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field, or equivalent with relevant coursework.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document clearly.
• Ability to work with residents with mental illness and substance use issues.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of residents' strengths and needs, including background information about social, psychological, medical, independent living characteristics.
• Provides supervision and guidance to residents, helping establish and maintain daily living routines.
• Provides direct training and support to residents based on their needs and interests in order to maintain or improve their community living skills.
• Maintains confidential records and writes reports as required.
• Plans and conducts activities with residents to promote community integration.
• Provides crisis intervention as needed, accessing emergency services as appropriate.
