Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI operates a trauma-informed Recovery Center in Oconomowoc, WI. We seek a compassionate Adult Residential Support Professional to supervise residents on the 2nd shift, provide daily living support, monitor wellbeing, and help build healthy, sober routines.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, assisting with meals, transport for appointments, and emergency response while maintaining resident confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.
• Coursework toward a degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work independently.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• DHS 83 training (Fire Safety, First Aid, Medication Administration, etc.) preferred but can be completed after hire.

• Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and community activities as needed.
• Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests when required.
• Facilitate educational or life skills activities.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd Shift)

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is seeking compassionate Adult Residential Support Professionals to join our new Recovery Center in Oconomowoc, WI. This trauma-informed residential treatment program provides medically monitored and transitional treatment for adult women recovering from substance use disorders. Mothers with infants up to 3 months old may also reside in the program.

As a Support Professional, you'll play an important role in helping residents build healthy, sober lives by providing daily support, encouragement, and structure in a safe, respectful environment.

Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:45 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.), including every other weekend
Pay: $17.75/hour

What You'll Do

Support and encourage residents in their recovery journey
