Job summary

Sevita’s NeuroRestorative seeks a supervisory professional to oversee day-to-day services, ensure individuals are properly managed, and implement programs and services for those served, while maintaining regulatory compliance and accurate records.

You will supervise staff, coordinate scheduling, incident reporting, and health/medication management, and work with case managers, families, and guardians to support independence in community-based settings, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services preferred.
• 1–2 years’ experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above.
• Other education and experience as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities and ensures individuals receiving services are properly managed and cared for.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinates activities and appointments of individuals served and maintains records.
• Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training.
• Manages incident reporting and implements corrective action as appropriate.
• Oversees health and medication management, scheduling, and client fund management.
• Maintains safe, clean, and orderly homes and coordinates with maintenance as needed.

Job description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. SUMMARY

Supervises the day to day activities, and ensures all individuals receiving services are properly managed and cared for, including implementing programs and services for those individuals. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and coordinates activities and appointments of individuals served and maintains records.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Completes purchasing of program supplies and submits billing compliance documentation.
• Maintains census and maximizes utilization and occupancy percentages within programs.
• Maintains and fosters relations with case managers and referral agents and lobbies on behalf of individuals supported and Network as appropriate.
• Maintains and fosters relations with individuals receiving services, families and guardians and implements individual satisfaction enhancement plans as appropriate.
• Supervises individual’s receiving services program plans and submits incident reports as appropriate.
• Ensures timely incident reporting and implements individual corrective action.
• Implies individuals supported safety plans and coordinates scheduling. Ensures individuals are receiving appropriate health and medication management. Assists in the management of client funds.
• Ensures homes are clean, neat, and safe; and works with and/or contacts maintenance as appropriate.
• Provides leadership including direct supervision of staff; implements Network employee practices; ensures safety and workers’ compensation initiatives are followed; and ensures employees receive appropriate orientation and training.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
• Performs other related duties and activities as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Makes decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services preferred
• One to two years’ experience preferred
• An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements
• Other education and experience as required by state

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• CPR and First Aid
• Current driver's license, car registration and auto insurance if providing transportation to individuals receiving services
• Licensure as required by state

Other Requirements:

• Travel as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Medium Work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
