Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Structural Engineer for on-site contract work in Florida. You will design structural components for residential wood and masonry structures, prepare sealed plans, and coordinate with architects and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering.
• PE License (Florida preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Design structural components of residential wood and masonry structures.
• Produce and seal structural plans, details, and repair letters.
• Collaborate with architectural staff and various departments.
• Conduct engineering calculations and prepare repair details/letters.
• Coordinate structural plans with truss layouts.
• Perform site visits and meet with building officials.
• Conduct code research.
