Job summary

Health-Care- in Brattleboro, VT, is hiring a Residential Specialist to support individuals with mental health or substance use challenges. The role focuses on developing independence and emotional regulation in a structured, community-based residence.

The position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus, three weeks paid vacation (pro-rated), excellent health/dental/vision coverage, nine paid holidays, and one week of personal time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or higher) preferred in psychology/social work or related field.
• Experience with individuals facing mental health and/or substance abuse challenges.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges to develop independent living skills and emotional regulation.
• Assist participants to achieve identified treatment goals within a supportive residential setting.
• Maintain safe transportation to and from activities as needed.
