Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on solar installation or roofing experience.
• Ability to install roof-mounted residential solar systems safely and efficiently.
• Work on roofs, ladders, attics, and confined spaces in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of residential roofing practices and waterproofing techniques.
• Read and interpret basic installation plans and construction documents.
• Proficient with power and hand tools, inverters, panels, batteries, lumber, and roofing materials.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Install residential solar energy systems, including array layout, racking, modules, and system components.
• Load and unload materials at the warehouse and job site, ensuring all necessary materials are organized and available.
• Install and commission solar energy systems according to engineering plans, manufacturer specifications, and site conditions.
• Install mounting hardware, roof attachments, flashing, and weatherproofing to maintain system integrity.
• Follow the NEC, local building codes, and company installation standards.
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, ladders, and installation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues encountered in the field.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked company vehicle.
• Document installation progress using mobile devices and job management apps.
• Communicate with crew, homeowners, and management throughout the process.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with other related duties as assigned.
