Job summary

Merakey in Stroudsburg, PA is seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor for our Adult Behavioral Health program. The role is 37.5 hours weekly, schedule 3 pm–11 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, with a pay rate of $18.60 per hour.

You will coordinate operations at the Residential Treatment Facility for Adults, supervise staff, handle incident reports, provide direct resident care, participate in on-call coverage, and support staff development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active and unrestricted drivers license required.
• Experience in the Human Services.
• One year experience working in a psychiatric setting preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.

• Oversee evening operations and send daily shift reports to management.
• Supervise staff on shift, including monthly written evaluations and direct support.
• Manage incidents by completing electronic reports and notifying upper management.
• Provide hands-on care and engage directly with residents during the shift.
• Attend monthly staff meetings (daytime; compensated).
• Participate in on-call coverage rotation.

Position Details

The Shift Supervisor coordinates and facilitates operations of our Residential Treatment Facility for Adults (RTFA) serving individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. This role provides leadership, ensures smooth shift transitions, and supports both residents and staff through direct care, supervision, and incident management. The supervisor also plays a key role in staff development, scheduling, and on-call coverage.
