Job summary

Straight & Narrow Programs is seeking a Shift Leader to provide on-site leadership and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for clients in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation setting. The role coordinates care with clinical teams, documents incidents, and supports continuity of care across shifts.

The position requires shift coverage, crisis response, and adherence to policies, with a focus on teamwork and recovery-oriented care.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, disciplined therapeutic environment during shifts.
• Supervise RL Associates and cover shifts as needed.
• Coordinate crises, investigations, and incident reporting.
• Ensure intake, visits, and client rounds are documented in the EHR.
• Facilitate groups and educational sessions; assist with program events.
