Lifesteps, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Community Homes (Residential Services) Supervisor for the Butler area.

This nonprofit has served Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by helping individuals and families meet changing needs, with a focus on dignified, independent living. The Supervisor oversees day-to-day activities of the Community Home, directly supervising house staff and acting as a Residential Companion within the care team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to lift 200 lbs with assistance
• Must pass a background check and obtain clearances

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of Community Home and staff
• Provide high quality care to individuals with respect and dignity
• Act as Residential Companion and part of direct care team
• Oversee two-week rotating day shift schedule (7am–3pm)

Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Community Homes (Residential Services) Supervisor in the Butler area.

Position Summary:

The Supervisor provides a high level of quality care to individuals while ensuring that each individual is treated with respect and dignity. Improves the quality of life for each individual by assisting them in learning to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community.

In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and handling the day-to-day activities of the Community Home. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of all house staff. The Supervisor functions as a Residential Companion and is part of the direct care team.

This full-time position works a two week rotating schedule of daylights (7am to 3pm).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years’ experience working in a direct care, home health aide, or human service or related field
• Current driver’s license and auto insurance
• Must be 18years or older
• Must be able to lift 200lbs with assistance
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain clearances

Preferred:

• Associate Degree or equivalent credits (60) and 2 years of experience working in a C.N.A, direct support professional, human service, Special Education or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year experience working in a human service or related field
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of 6400, 6500, and/or 2380 regulations (or equivalent regulations).
