Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. in Butler, PA, is hiring a Full-Time Community Homes Supervisor. You will oversee a Community Home, supervise staff, and help residents live as independently as possible with dignity and support.

The role operates on a two-week rotating schedule (7am–3pm) and offers a strong benefits package. A HS diploma, 3 years’ direct care experience, valid driver’s license, and background clearances are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years’ experience in direct care, home health aide, human services or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must be 18 years or older; able to lift 200 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care and ensure individuals are treated with dignity.
• Help individuals learn to live and function independently in home and community.
• Oversee and manage day-to-day activities of the Community Home.
• Direct supervision of all house staff; act as Residential Companion on the team.
• Work a two-week rotating day shift from 7am to 3pm.

Education

HALLAND TERRACE Full‑time Regular Butler, PA - Center Township, Butler, PA, US

Position Summary

The Supervisor provides a high level of quality care to individuals while ensuring that each individual is treated with respect and dignity. Improves the quality of life for each individual by assisting them in learning to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community.

In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and handling the day‑to‑day activities of the Community Home. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of all house staff. The Supervisor functions as a Residential Companion and is part of the direct care team.

This full‑time position works a two week rotating schedule of daylights (7am to 3pm).

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma/GED and three (3) years’ experience working in a direct care, home health aide, or human service or related field
• Current driver’s license and auto insurance
• Must be 18years or older
• Must be able to lift 200lbs with assistance
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain clearances

Preferred

• Associate Degree or equivalent credits (60) and 2 years of experience working in a C.N.A, direct support professional, human service, Special Education or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year experience working in a human service or related field
• Supervisory experience and knowledge of 6400, 6500, and/or 2380 regulations (or equivalent regulations).
