Job summary

The Arc | Residential Services in Scranton, PA seeks a dedicated Residential Program Specialist to coordinate Life Sharing Services and Supported Living Services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism.

Under the Manager of Residential Services, you will help oversee community-based residential homes, ensure person-centered care, promote independence, and advocate for clients to live meaningful, fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• Must have face-to-face interaction experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• Qualifying experience must be direct and can be cumulative over time.
• Administrative tasks without direct interaction do not count toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Life Sharing Services and Supported Living Services to ensure quality and individualized support.
• Oversee daily operations of community-based residential homes and group homes.
• Promote independence, self-determination, and community integration for individuals served.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans and personal goals.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals receiving services.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, providers, and the support team.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, licensing, agency policies, and quality standards.
• Monitor service delivery and identify areas for improvement.
• Encourage participation in meaningful activities that build life skills and community involvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and required regulatory reports.
