Job summary

AHRC Nassau seeks a Residential Services Supervisor to oversee a cluster of residences within the Community Living Services program in New York. You will supervise House Managers, review compliance, and coordinate with clinical teams to ensure high-quality services.

The role requires at least 5 years’ experience with the developmentally disabled population, supervisory background, and a valid NYS driver’s license. Travel and weekend coverage apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with developmentally disabled populations.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Must have valid NYS Driver’s License and be able to travel between sites.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and internal web apps.

Responsibilities

• Supervises House Managers/Supervisors, conducts weekly visits to homes.
• Performs compliance reviews and develops corrective action plans.
• Coordinates with clinical staff to share resident information for services.
• Oversees staffing and personnel records to ensure adequate staffing and documentation.
• Reviews residency financial records monthly for accuracy and accountability.
• Engages with families/guardians quarterly to discuss operations and concerns.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed and reports unsafe conditions.
