Description

We are looking for a Service Plumber to handle various residential plumbing tasks. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing, and repairing plumbing systems, diagnosing issues, executing repairs, and ensuring all work complies with high-quality standards and local codes. Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication with homeowners are essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems in plumbing systems and equipment
• Clean drains and resolve drain issues
• Assess whether repairs or replacements are needed
• Install and assemble plumbing systems and components
• Perform maintenance and repairs on water and gas systems
• Test for leaks to ensure safety and functionality
• Manage inventory of plumbing supplies
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Follow safety protocols and maintain safety equipment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in residential/commercial plumbing
• Experience with drain cleaning and specialized tools
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes
• Proficiency with plumbing tools
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks
• Commitment to safety and customer service
• Basic tech skills for work tracking
• Leadership and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours and emergency calls
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and 3+ years driving experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Plumbing License
• Additional certifications such as backflow prevention or gas piping

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Climb ladders, access tight spaces, drive, and perform physical tasks
• Work in various environments and weather conditions
